Compliance Specialist

Founded in 1987, Associated Pharmacies, Inc. (API, now a subsidiary of AAP) is a member-owned buying cooperative with a distribution warehouse. API also designs and implements services for its members needed to run a successful business.

API is currently looking for a Compliance Coordinator.

Position:                   Compliance Coordinator, Full-time

Reports To:              Compliance Manager

Normal Work Schedule is Monday - Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Maintain, report, and respond to incoming purchasing orders.


• Analyze data and reports to identify and determine purchasing compliance and react to suspicious orders.


• Effectively and professionally communicate with customers regarding compliance.


• Develop, manage, and maintain electronic files, spreadsheets, and correspondence.


• Must stay abreast of current industry practices and standards.


• Completes other projects as assigned by the Compliance Manager


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have a knowledge base of different software systems and strong computer usage experience, including Excel and Word


• Must have strong analytical skills.


• Organized and detail-oriented.


• Ability to multi-task effectively


• Excellent conflict resolution skills and ability to diplomatically handle confrontation.


• Must be goal-oriented and must be able to adjust to the task at hand.

Other Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old. 


• Must be able to pass a required criminal background check and drug test.
