Job Description
Summary
The Component Engineer supports electronic and electromechanical component management across the product lifecycle, including selection, qualification, classification, and obsolescence mitigation. Works closely with electrical design, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure components are technically appropriate, available, and compliant. Applies practical electrical design knowledge to understand component function within circuits and to interpret and analyze electrical Bills of Materials (BOMs), schematics, and related documentation. Evaluates component specifications, identifies lifecycle risks, and recommends qualified alternates or second sources. Contributes to component database management, engineering documentation, and cross‑functional problem resolution. Actively supports continuous improvement of component engineering processes through the development and implementation of automation solutions and integration of data analytics and AI‑based tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Salary Range:
$58,700.00-$78,300.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
