About the role

We are seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Technician with hands-on compounding experience to support a growing pharmacy operation. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who takes pride in precision, cleanliness, and consistency and who thrives in a structured, quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare non-sterile and/or sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision
• Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and label compounds according to SOPs
• Maintain a clean, compliant compounding environment
• Follow USP <795>, <797>, and <800> guidelines and safety procedures
• Complete batch records and compounding documentation
• Assist with inventory management and ingredient preparation
• Support quality assurance processes and internal audits

Required

• Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT or state equivalent)
• 2+ years of hands-on compounding experience
• Familiarity with USP <795> (and <797>/<800> if applicable)
• Strong math skills and attention to detail

Preferred

• Experience in high-volume compounding pharmacies
• Sterile compounding experience
• Experience working with hormone, dermatologic, or specialty compounds
