Your role involves identifying new and advanced processes and materials formulations. Your expertise and knowledge will play a crucial role in our customers\u2019 success, making an impact on next generation semiconductor technologies.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\nTechnical\n\n * Perform computational chemistry to support process engineering research \u0026 development, and process/chamber simulations\n * Plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts and approaches for simulation evaluation workflows\n * Compile and evaluate modeling data to provide guidance on chemistries and materials, as well as appropriate limits and variables for process specifications \n\n\n\nLeadership\n\n * Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience in atomistic simulations \n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science (or equivalent)\n * Experience using the Gaussian DFT software\n * Experience using the Quantum Espresso software\n * Experience with gas phase reaction mechanism analysis\n * Experience with surface reaction mechanism analysis\n * Experience with frontier molecular orbital analysis\n * Experience with reactive molecular dynamics using ReaxFF\n * Interest in advanced technology and an on-going desire to learn\n * Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Experience with machine learning techniques\n * Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously\n * Ability to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs and deadlines\n * Collaboration/Matrix environment mindset\n\n\n\nSalary\n\nCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: - .\n\nThe above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only.
