We work closely with design, layout, and process teams, and we thrive on solving hard technical problems that directly impact product success!\n\nAs a Computer Engineer, you will play a critical role in keeping our design ecosystem running efficiently and reliably. You\u2019ll develop, improve, and support both in\u2011house and commercial EDA tools while partnering closely with engineers across the design flow. This is a hands\u2011on role for someone who enjoys debugging, innovating, and enabling others to do their best work.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Develop and enhance EDA tools, flows, and methodologies for CMOS design and verification\n * Debug, evaluate, and support in\u2011house and commercial EDA solutions in a production environment\n * Collaborate closely with design and process teams to solve workflow and tool challenges\n * Document processes and provide training and support for end users \n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field\n * Strong programming fundamentals with demonstrated problem\u2011solving ability\n * Effective communication skills in a collaborative engineering environment\n * Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and with shell scripting \n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience programming in SKILL and Python\n * Background in VLSI, IC design, or CAD tools for schematic, layout, simulation, or verification\n * Experience with CMOS implementation tradeoffs including area, speed, and power\n * Prior work supporting or developing EDA design flows\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nCAD Engineer 2\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
