Schedule: 13-week Contract
Night Shift 38 hours, (4x9.5, M-Th, 21:00-06:30), 40 hours (5x8, M-F, 16:00-00:30)

Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled CT Technician for a Radiology unit assignment in Greensboro, NC. The primary responsibility of the CT Technician is to ensure that physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images for accurate diagnoses and assessment of treatments. The CT Technician interacts professionally with patients, fully explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and increase satisfaction. A thorough understanding of human anatomy and physiology, as well as the technical aspects of imaging equipment and procedures, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional

• Explaining CT scan procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety and increase satisfaction


• Positioning patients properly to capture the necessary images


• Administering IVs with contrast dyes to enhance imaging


• Examining images to ensure they are of high quality and usable


• Updating and maintaining accurate patient medical records


• Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment


• Managing inventory of CT scan supplies and ordering restocks as needed

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required


• First-time Travelers: Yes


• Certifications: BLS & ARRT CT required.


• Charting: EPIC


• On-Call:


• Weekend Requirement:  


• COVID & FLU: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only


• Locals allowed: No, requires that your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from location


• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission


• *Peds, Adolescent, Adult & Geriatric exp required. Neonates and Infants preferred.


• *Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, ICU exp required. NICU, PICU preferred.


• *PACS and Contrast required. Biopsies and IV starts preferred.
