Concierge (Receptionist)

The Carriages of Rochester is growing our TEAM and we are looking for people who have a passion for serving older adults. We seek hard-working, dedicated concierge staff who take pride in providing quality care, respect, and friendship while recognizing that each resident desires independence while receiving assistance with daily living. We pride ourselves on having a great TEAM to work alongside and with amazing residents, who are appreciative of the detail we show in maintaining a clean and safe assisted living community with a family-like atmosphere.  Part-time hours needed: Wednesday and Friday from 5pm-8pm and every other Saturday from 9am-4pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer multi-line telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate person.


• Greets and directs visitors and vendors.


• Promptly addresses resident’s requests and complaints.


• Receives, sorts, and forward’s incoming mail.


• Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services


• Assists with other clerical duties such as inputting data, photocopying, faxing, filing, collating etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must.


• This job requires a high school diploma


• At least 1 year experience in clerical work.


• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.


• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
