Concierge, Security Lead

Schedule: Full Time M-F 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

Summary

The Grove is seeking an office lobby-based Concierge to serve as the primary host to greet and accurately assess and handle the needs and requests of tenants, guests, and others to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. As a valued member of the team, the Concierge works directly with The Grove’s Property Management team and security provider to always ensure professional delivery of services. The Concierge serves a crucial role of orchestrating all needs and levels of communication between management, guests, tenants and first responders during critical incidents. 

Concierge Duties

• Greets all who enter and exit the building with a smile and genuine enthusiasm throughout the day
• Provide a superior level of customer service to enhance & elevate the overall the guest experience 
• Act as a liaison between our guests, tenants, and management through highly effective communication skills
• Provides information about The Grove & area features, such as shopping, dining, nightlife, cultural & recreational destinations 
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the lobby area
• Answers and appropriately fields incoming calls from tenants/visitors, vendors, and other parties
• Fields service requests from tenants and guests and communicates with maintenance staff follows up with individual once issue has been resolved
• Assists vendors and tenants with obtaining necessary authorized access to building areas
• Assists with general questions as needed
• Work collaboratively with RED/The Grove’s Marketing Team for special and amenity deck events.
• Other duties assigned by management

Security Duties

• During critical incidents: Provide a crucial link between our guests, tenants, management, and first responders 
• Following Media policy & protocol, act as an initial point of contact for media arriving on, or calling the Property Management team and/or Marketing Team 
• Coordinates resource allocation with our third-party security vendor as relates to calls for service and overall third-party staffing. 
• Monitor CCTV, Life-Safety, and phone systems at Lobby station to address the needs of tenants, guests, and retailers

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience and Overall Expectations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenge situations with professionalism and problem-solving initiative 
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from owners, managers, clients, customers, emergency services, general public, and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and to compute rate, ratio, and percentages
• Basic computer and software skills, including word processing, data entry and analysis, and presentation development.
• Computer and software skills for workorder systems
• Ability to appropriately prioritize and manage multiple requests at once.
• Consistently professional, collaborative, and responsive approach to customer service and interactions with colleagues.

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years Concierge experience 

Preferred

• Prior security management experience
• Concierge or customer service experience in a real estate setting
