Concrete Batch Plant Operator

This position will require extended travel and work throughout the Midwest (e.g., Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and Nebraska). 

 Wages are based on experience
 Per Diem for travel expenses 

 Medical, Dental, Vision, & 401(k)

Primary Function:
This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of portable central mix concrete batch plants. This includes set up and tear down of plant, record keeping of materials and daily production, and overall maintenance of plants and its conveyer systems. This position reports to the Concrete Plant Foreman. 

 
Typical Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up, tear down, and operate portable wet batch concrete plant. 


• Maintenance and repair of the concrete plant and its conveyer systems. 


• Accurately report daily material delivery and usage in a timely manner and ordering material according to production plans.


• Have an understanding of concrete mix properties.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 


• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen with a "Negative" result.


• Must be able to complete a post-offer physical with a "Capable" result.

Preferred Experience:

• Have at least two years of experience around concrete manufacturing operations.
