Concrete Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and project specifications
  

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and accurate cost estimates for concrete scopes
  

• Evaluate project risks, labor requirements, and material needs
  

• Solicit pricing and input from vendors and subcontractors
  

• Develop and submit competitive bid proposals and track responses
  

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure estimates align with construction plans and goals
  

• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the bidding and project development process
  

• Provide technical support and estimate revisions as needed throughout the project lifecycle
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  

• 1–3 years of experience estimating structural concrete work in commercial or industrial construction
  

• Proficiency in construction estimating tools such as Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid, and PlanSwift
  

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint; CAD or Tekla experience is a plus
  

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  

• High attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation and documentation
  

• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
