Job Description:

• Experience estimating concrete scopes including foundations, slabs, walls, structures, and associated concrete work.
  


• Ability to build a concrete estimate from start to finish, including scope review, takeoffs, pricing, and final review.
  


• Ability to develop work plans and construction approaches for concrete packages.
  


• Experience printing and reviewing plans and specifications and assembling estimate files.
  


• Experience maintaining project lists, historical data, and vendor databases.
  


• Experience obtaining and analyzing subcontractor, supplier, and material quotes.
  


• Strong experience completing detailed concrete take-offs.
  


• Ability to prepare schedules and cost estimates as required.
  


• Ability to prepare proposal documents and scope narratives.
  


• Ability to attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed.
  


• Proficiency with estimating software such as HeavyBid.
  


• Experience with PlanSwift or similar takeoff software preferred.
  


• Experience with AGTEK preferred.
  


• Experience with P6 preferred.
  


• AutoCAD experience preferred.

Qualifications:

College degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of concrete or construction estimating experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must participate in pre-employment and random drug screening.
Subject to background screening.
