Concrete Finisher / Equipment Operator

Ostlund, a leader in infrastructure and facility services, is seeking an experienced Concrete/Machine Operator with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). This is a hands-on role focused on concrete placement, forming, and finishing, along with operating heavy equipment to support a variety of concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of concrete work including forming, pouring, placing, and finishing.
• Assist with layout, grading, and site preparation for concrete flatwork, pads, and curbs.
• Operate concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing equipment.
• Safely operate skid steers, backhoes, and other machinery to support concrete installation.
• Ensure proper curing, finishing techniques, and overall quality of concrete work.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Accurately document materials used, hours worked, and site conditions.
• Transport equipment and materials to job sites as needed (CDL required).

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on concrete experience (forming, pouring, and finishing required).
• Experience operating construction and concrete equipment.
• Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of concrete practices, job site safety, and OSHA standards.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor (standing, kneeling, bending).
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or extended shifts.
