Concrete Foreman

EK Services is hiring a Concrete Foreman

A Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations at a worksite to ensure the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner. Monitoring budgeting expenses for workers, supplies or tools and reviewing laws and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. The concrete crew will be responsible for forming, pouring, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete as part of our restoration process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  Ability to read and interpret plans


• 
  Knowledge and ability to set and check grade


• 
  Knowledge of sloping and safe excavation practices
  


• 
  Responsible for arranging for maintenance and repair of equipment, including keeping equipment serviced and in good working order, including good housekeeping


• 
  Planning, organizing and coordination of daily activities and work assignments for your team
  


• 
  Responsible for instruction and training employees and ensure the safety of workers


• 
  Must accurately track and report daily work hours for crew, equipment utilization and quantities of work performed


• 
  Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Work environment conditions consist of working in all weather where the conditions could be dirty or dusty.


• The ability to frequently kneel, bend, and lift 20 to 100lbs or more


• Ability to work extended hours during construction season (OT is paid at time and a half)
  
  

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age


• Experience preferred but willing to train the right individual


• Must pass Drug Screen & DOT physical


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
