Position Summary:
The Concrete Foreman is responsible for leading and coordinating all on-site concrete construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while meeting customer expectations. This role involves supervising crew members and subcontractors, interpreting blueprints, managing schedules, and overseeing daily work progress. The Concrete Foreman will ensure smooth site operations, maintain safety compliance, and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process. The Concrete Foreman will report directly to the Operations Manager (or Owner) and perform any other duties assigned by them.

- Delivers projects consistently on or ahead of schedule.
- Maintains quality standards that meet or exceed project specifications.
- Keeps projects within budget, avoiding unapproved cost overruns.
- Accurately tracks labor, material, and equipment usage.
- Drives high productivity and efficiency from crews and subcontractors.
- Fosters strong team morale and low turnover through leadership and mentorship.
- Upholds safety protocols with zero serious incidents or OSHA violations.
- Communicates clearly and promptly with owners, operations managers, clients, and team members.
- Resolves site issues and conflicts quickly and effectively.
- Achieves high client satisfaction, resulting in positive feedback and repeat business.
- Minimizes punch-list items at project completion and addresses them promptly.
Duties, Responsibilities, and Tasks:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of onsite crew members and subcontractors.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure work meets project requirements.
- Assign tasks, ensuring efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials.
- Inspect work progress and ensure all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Communicate effectively with the owner, operations manager, clients, and team members.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, material usage, job costs, and project timelines.
- Train, mentor, and support crew members to foster a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Provide consistent project updates to the owner.
- Monitor budgets and control costs to keep projects within financial targets.
- Track project timelines, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques, tools, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional certifications or training in construction management, OSHA safety, or related fields are a plus
