The McKenny Group is leading a confidential search for a Manufacturing Accounting Manager on behalf of a large automotive manufacturing organization. This is a high -priority opportunity for a finance and accounting leader who thrives in a manufacturing environment and brings strong expertise in accounting, reporting, cost analysis, and operational partnership.

The selected individual will play an important role in supporting leadership through accurate financial reporting, disciplined accounting processes, strong cost and inventory oversight, and meaningful financial insight. This position will work closely with operational and business leaders and will help support both day -to -day financial performance and broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and oversee monthly financial close activities
  
• Lead financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  
• Manage cost accounting and inventory accounting processes
  
• Provide financial insight and operational support to leadership
  
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
  
• Support compliance, audit readiness, and process improvement
  
• Help drive sound financial decision -making in a manufacturing environment
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  
• Five (5) to seven (7) years experience, required
  
• Significant accounting or finance experience in manufacturing
  
• Strong background in cost accounting, inventory, and reporting
  
• Ability to partner effectively with operations and senior leadership
  
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
  
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing finance tools preferred
