PrideNow is hiring a

Buyer

for a manufacturer and distributor within the food and beverage industry in

Jersey City, NJ.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purchase merchandise and/or commodities for resale
Solicit quotations from vendors and ensure timely delivery
Engage in price negotiations with vendors and conduct forecasting activities
Generate purchase orders, conduct audits and oversee annual inventory processes
Utilize analytical problem-solving and effective interpersonal communication skills
Perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Meet deadlines with accurate and detailed results
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
5-7 years related experience in procurement and supply chain management
Must be familiar with order processing systems
Must be familiar with MS Office Suite including Word and Excel
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
