No remote work is available for this position.\n\nConfiguration Analyst \u2013 Level 2\n\n * This position requires demonstrated experience: establishing and following CM/DM processes throughout project life cycles to maintain consistent configuration control, developing, operating, and maintaining CM database and other process management tools, maintaining the Configuration Management Plan, managing CM products and documentation.\n * Coordinate and administer configuration management activities related to planning, identification, change management, status accounting, and verification and audit.\n * Manage CM processes to maintain the integrity of the hardware and software as-designed and as-built configurations utilizing both PLM and ERP systems.\n * Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.\n * Prepare and maintain program plans that define how configuration management will be accomplished on multiple military programs.\n * Assist with capturing product baselines and performing configuration status accounting and configuration audits.\n * Review contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying CM knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.\n * Analyze proposed changes to product design documentation to determine effect on overall product and system.\n * Review Statement of Work/program specification content and applicability to program implementation\n * Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects and requirements.\n * Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned.\n * Participate in modifying and providing input to policies and procedures that govern CM-related processes, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and pursue CM process improvements.\n * Complete all contractual buyoff requirements.\n * Good communication and organizational skills\n * Ability to interface well with program management/customers.\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for Configuration Analyst (level 2):\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with 2 years of experience, a Master\u2019s degree with 1 year of experience.\n * Domain knowledge of Configuration Mgmt. standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A \u0026/or EIA-649B \u0026/or EIA-649-1\n * U.S Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Clearance\n\n\n * Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface well with program management/customers\n * Experience with product lifecycle management software, Teamcenter highly preferred\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Self-motivated and able to effectively work with all levels of the organization. \n * Proficient in tools such as Adobe, TcUA, Costpoint/SAP, WARP, WAWF and other related CM programs\n * Knowledge of ERP execution.\n * DoD Active Secret clearance\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
