This position will be located in Promontory, Utah.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\n\n * Participates in the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities related to identification, control, and accounting for systems, products and/or equipment in accordance with contractual requirements including:\n\n * Following specific set of documentation rules and guidelines to ensure technical content meets internal and external customer requirements\n\n * Researching and verifying technical content as needed\n\n * Evaluating technical content for cohesiveness and completeness \n\n * Coordinating changes to product design documents with engineering, quality manufacturing, and other support organizations. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and ensures compliance with configuration management policies\n\n * Performing engineering data control activities which may include administration of government/industry documents (change notice, impact assessment, and where-used creation) and creation/release of parts\n\n * Participates in modifying and enhancing standard work associated with activities and responsibilities described above\n\n\n\n\nWe offer flexible work arrangements, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. We are looking for self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented people to help us grow our services and become even better at what we do.\n\nThis requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below\n\nSkills \u0026 Qualifications:\n\n * Excellent written and oral communication skills\n\n * Demonstrated time management and organizational skills\n\n * Detail oriented but able to understand the big picture\n\n * Ability to work on a team or independently as needed\n\n * Excellent decision-making capability to make timely decisions with the information at hand\n\n * This position often involves critical thinking skills to evaluate technical content for cohesiveness and completeness\n\n\n\n\nConfiguration Analyst 2 Basic Qualifications:\n\n * Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor\u2019s degree or a year of experience with a Master\u2019s degree, OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of related professional / military experience in lieu of a 4-year degree\n\n * Working knowledge and understanding of engineering documentation (i.e. drawings, specifications, parts lists, change notices, manufacturing plans, test or laboratory procedures)\n\n * Knowledge or demonstrated experience using one of the following: PLM, CAD, or MRP software\n\n * Knowledge of how business processes work together to ensure interfaces with other business processes are efficient\n\n * Be an effective communicator skilled at collaborating with others to get work done and manage conflicting priorities\n\n * Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance\n\n * Solid skill level in Microsoft Office products\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Requirements:\n\n * B.S. or M.S. degree in a STEM area or Scientific Writing\n\n * CMII certification preferred\n\n * Demonstrated experience using PLM, CAD, and MRP software\n\n * Knowledge of agile or scrum methodologies\n\n * Development capability within the Microsoft Office suite (i.e. development of templates and macros)\n\n\n\n\nPrincipal Configuration Analyst 3 Qualifications:\n\n * Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor\u2019s degree OR 3 years of experience with a Master\u2019s degree, OR 1 year of experience with a PhD, OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years of related professional / military experience in lieu of a 4-year degree.\n\n * Working knowledge and understanding of engineering documentation (i.e. drawings, specifications, parts lists, change notices, manufacturing plans, test or laboratory procedures)\n\n * Knowledge or demonstrated experience using one of the following: PLM, CAD, or MRP software\n\n * Knowledge of how business processes work together to ensure interfaces with other business processes are efficient\n\n * Be an effective communicator skilled at collaborating with others to get work done and manage conflicting priorities\n\n * Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance\n\n * Solid skill level in Microsoft Office products\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Requirements:\n\n * B.S. or M.S. degree in a STEM area or Scientific Writing\n\n * CMII certification preferred\n\n * Demonstrated experience using PLM, CAD, and MRP software\n\n * Knowledge of agile or scrum methodologies\n\n * Development capability within the Microsoft Office suite (i.e. development of templates and macros)\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
