A Configuration Analyst role is available with our client in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this role you will maintain and manage product configuration throughout the design, development, and manufacturing lifecycle. You will be involved in creating detailed change notices for customer approval and ensuring all design alterations comply with industry standards and customer requirements. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of related experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop and manage configuration control processes and procedures.
* Create and distribute change notices to customers for approval during various stages of the product design process.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure configuration accuracy.
* Maintain configuration documentation and manage configuration databases.
* Review and analyze changes to assess the impact on product performance and compliance.
* Ensure that all configuration management activities adhere to regulatory and customer requirements.
* Facilitate configuration control board meetings to discuss and approve changes.
* Provide training and support to team members on configuration management tools and processes.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor"s degree in Engineering, Information Systems or Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in configuration management, preferably in an aerospace or engineering environment.
* Proven experience in managing configuration changes and developing control processes.
* Strong knowledge of configuration management principles and practices.
* Proficiency in configuration management software and tools.
* Experience in document control and record-keeping
