Configuration Coordinator

The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as the Gate Keeper, ensuring the absolute integrity of all information flowing in the EPICOR Kinetic ERP system.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing pre-assembly functions such as staging, pre-cleaning, and quality inspection of components per established procedures and specifications.
  • Assembling and testing of complex electro-mechanical modules and systems.
  • Maintaining accurate assembly procedures and clear documentation to assure manufacturing is in accordance with internal and external quality systems.
  • Supporting stockroom activities to include organizing and documenting activities relating to specific tool staging projects.
  • Monitoring of operating equipment and reporting of substandard conditions to ensure systems are maintained according to standard operating procedures.
  • Applying lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and reduce output variation.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures will be required to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Verification of all new and revised Methods of Manufacturing, including Bills of Operation and Bills of Material released to EPICOR ERP from PDM via CADLink or manually.
  • Processing of ECNs including material disposition, stock evaluation, change cut-in management and revision deactivation.
  • Communication link between departments to facilitate timely implementation of new MOMs and revisions.
  • CORE member of EPCIOR ERP implementation team.
  • Must be able to maintain a regular on-site work schedule

Desired skill and Experience:

  • Detail Oriented
  • Minimum of five years in-depth combined knowledge and experience of ERP systems.
  • Working knowledge of Document Control processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Bill of Materials and Manufacturing Orders.
  • Possess strong engineering documentation knowledge.
  • Working knowledge including hands-on experience with ECN implementation.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word
  • Assertive, able to coordinate between various departments for maximum results.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • This includes managing multiple projects to meet time sensitive objectives.

Education and other Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with our company policy.
  • Ability to work close proximity with other team members and upper management.
  • Positive and effective interaction with other team members is a necessary part of this position.
