Configuration Management Specialist

SSI needs to add an experienced Logistician to support our current list of services provided for the U.S. Navy. 

This position is established in support of C4ISR logistics programs.

Your key duties will be to: 

• Assist with the establishment and execution of CM related procedures; 
• Maintain decentralized metrics files of all IPT configuration management and/or Change Control Board (CCB) actions;
• Analyze new program acquisition or modification requirements(Statement of Work, Contract Data Requirement List, etc), engineering change actions;
• Facilitate the technical and logistics review process and impact on existing airborne weapon systems and commonality issues as related to the CM competency, 
• Provide input to the technical review of engineering change actions and retrofit documents Carry out specific or collateral tasks and functions identified or assigned as CM related, such as participate or lead a configuration audit team
• Prepare NAVAIR required CCB Change Request workbooks
• Utilize the Enterprise ECP processing tool for processing change documents.

Required Qualifications

Education: BS or BA degree Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, or Management.

Experience: At least 10 years of experience in acquisition logistics support or maintenance engineering. A minimum of four (4) years of specific experience in technical analysis of logistics acquisition requirements analysis.
