Configuration Manager

• Conduct comprehensive audits of artifacts and asset inventories to create and maintain accurate, as-built models and drawings for assigned area
• Use Visio and other modeling tools to create and maintain as-built configuration drawings or models
• Review and research Change Requests and other work vehicles to complete tasks using Remedy ticketing system
• Consult with engineers to understand configuration changes to update all related drawings and artifacts
• Update and maintain the Configuration Management System (CMDB)
• Help update and maintain property records
• Work under minimal supervision
• Prioritize assignments for themselves and junior personnel to complete work in a timely manner
• Provide useful suggestions on improving processes
• Maintain a positive and friendly working relationship with customers and peers
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Training: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required 
• ITIL certification preferred

Experience:

• 4+ years of direct experience in the area of Configuration Management, Change Management, Technical Engineering, or Asset Management  
• Previous Experience with Modeling tools or Model Based Engineering preferred
• Experience with Remedy preferred

Security:

• Must be a US citizen

• Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $120,000 - 140,000
