Job Description - Configuration Manager (TS/SCI Clearance)

This position is part of a bid process associated with a Statement of Work. Candidates are encouraged to submit their information and resumes highlighting their relevant experience.

Position Title: Configuration Manager
Location: Hanover, MD
Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

Position Overview:

Join a collaborative and mission-driven team where your contributions directly support the Army’s readiness and modernization goals.

The Configuration Manager supports the control and traceability of program assets, documents, and systems through formal configuration management (CM) practices and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Support configuration control boards and CM planning activities.
Manage version control for technical documents, drawings, and software baselines.
Maintain configuration status accounting and CM databases.
Ensure CM compliance with program plans and DoD policy.
Assist in preparing and updating CM plans and procedures.
Support change request evaluations and impact assessments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
5–7 years of configuration management experience.
Familiarity with CM tools and standards (e.g., MIL-STD-973, EIA-649).
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
