Console Department Technician

Clair Global has an exciting opportunity in our console department!

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job under direct supervision of the Technical Service Manager.

Ability to prioritize and complete tasks under strict deadlines
Ability to understand and present information/ideas in writing, in person, or over the phone
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Basic understanding of analog/digital consoles and signal flow
Basic computer/networking skills
Basic soldering skills
Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
Must excel in a fast-paced, demanding, and continuously changing environment

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Assist road staff with equipment preparation


• Continual use of our ERP Software in order to proficiently track, manage, document and prep company owned assets


• Document gear returning from tour when required


• Test/maintain console systems and associated hardware/software


• Trouble-shoot full console systems in person and over the phone


• Prepare outgoing console systems
