As a Construction Accounting Administrator you will:

Partners with Project Managers Accounts Payable

Add vendors, enter invoices and cut checks for Construction, Development and Mini Storage teams

Verify budgets within job cost modules

Distribute job cost reporting to key Construction leaders

Prepare draws for HUD, Conventional Financing and Mini Storage jobs

Document gathering for equity installments and preparation of draw for job closings

Print and distribute A/P checks monthly per draw funding

Prepare and record insurance risk monthly reporting

Prepare and record payroll allocations

Monitor building turns and Certificate of Occupancies

Administer A/P check runs twice monthly

Set up job files and coordinate new draws electronically

Reports to: Assistant Controller

Qualifications:

Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience of 3 years in computerized accounting

Strong Accounts Payable and Bookkeeping experience

Outstanding attention to detail with regard to accounting figures, insurance and documents

Experience with Yardi and Sage Intacct software highly preferred, not required

Adaptable to a quick paced environment

Positive demeanor and effective communicator
