LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Construction Accounting Coordinator to join our client in Woodland Hills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes for construction projects, including processing invoices, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to track project costs, analyze variances, and forecast financial performance.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
- Assist in the preparation of project bids and proposals by providing accurate cost estimates and financial analysis.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all construction projects.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide support to the finance and accounting team as needed, including ad hoc analysis and special projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Oracle software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
