Construction Accounting Manager - Excellent Benefits Package

Essential Functions Statement:

· Prepares timely reports for management which appraise, summarize, and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.

· Oversees the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules, including consolidated statements.

· Oversees accounting function, including accounts payable; accounts receivable; general ledger; cost and fixed asset accounting.

· Coordinates the analysis of actual manufacturing costs versus standard costs and product profitability reporting.

· Directs and coordinates the preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.

· Establishes and maintains internal control systems and standard operating procedures to ensure adequate control, safeguarding of company assets, and compliance with laws.

· Leads the annual audit process and serves as main point of contact for external auditors.

· Maintains compliance with required bank covenants.

· Coordinates insurance coverage for the corporation’s property and casualty program.

· Manages the company’s travel and expense policies.

· Analyzes cost and expenses to advise managers of favorable or unfavorable business trends.

· Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.
