Construction & Design Associate- Denver

Position: Construction & Design Associate 
Location: Denver, CO

Overview:

Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking an Associate with 2-5 years of transactional or contract experience involving construction projects to join its Construction & Design Practice Group in Denver. This role will focus on drafting and negotiating a range of project-related agreements for industrial, energy, renewable, residential, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate EPC/BOP, cost-plus, fixed-price, CM, professional services, subcontractor, and supply agreements

• Advise clients across diverse project types, including:

  • Energy projects (wind, solar, hydroelectric, and natural gas facilities)

  • Agricultural, food processing, and industrial facilities

  • Mining and natural resource developments

  • Athletic and sports facilities

  • Manufacturing, R&D, fulfillment, and warehouse projects

  • General commercial construction matters

• Support dispute management and risk mitigation on major construction projects

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school

• 2-5 years of transactional or contract experience in construction or related projects

• Colorado Bar admission (or ability to obtain)

• Strong attention to detail and excellent drafting, organizational, and communication skills
