Construction Apprentice

Our client, Woodford Bros., Inc., is looking to add a Construction Apprentice to their team. Woodford Bros. has been a trusted partner for residential homeowners and commercial businesses in New York for over 60 years. As a Construction Apprentice, you'll be a part of a three-person crew, preparing you to step into a leadership role. During this period, you'll receive the training, knowledge and tools needed to excel and advance, with the potential to lead your own crew! Your work will leave homeowners with restored peace of mind, knowing their home's value has been preserved and protected. 

What Woodford Bros. Will Provide You: 

• A $500 Sign-On Bonus. 
• Bonus Structure: After successfully completing training requirements to become a Foreman or Co Foreman, you become eligible for bonuses. The uncapped bonus system rewards efficiency, meaning the more efficient your team, the higher your potential earnings.
• High Earning Potential: With strong performance, bonus-eligible employees have the ability to earn $160,000 annually.
• Paid Training: Ranging from $17/hour - $21/hour based on experience. 
• Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health insurance, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, paid holidays and paid sick time.
• Opportunities for career growth (especially into roles like Co-Foreman or Foreman). 

What You'll Do as a Construction Apprentice:

• Assist the Foreman and Co-Foreman with completing installations. 
• Travel daily to customers' homes (with a company-provided vehicle). 
• Perform in-home basement waterproofing, foundation repair, crawlspace repair and other home improvement solutions.

What We're Looking For: 

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak, read and write in English. 
• Hard working and committed to workmanship that produces quality results. 
• Someone that has a team-oriented mindset and the ability to lead a 'winning' team.
• Having knowledge of construction or related trades, preferred. 
• A valid drivers license, safe driving record and timely, reliable attendance.
