Construction Coordinator

Description

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Construction Completions Coordinator to be responsible for the development and execution of process piping and mechanical testing activities. The Construction Completions Coordinator will develop all facility piping leak test packages per SHINE Work Instructions, and plan, schedule and coordinate piping and mechanical systems completions testing, as well as attend and participate in daily departmental planning sessions.

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $115,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific duties and responsibilities of the Construction Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

• Work with the Site Construction Manager to develop, establish, and implement construction department policies, programs and procedures as required to self-perform construction.
• Track and report piping system leak testing progress for completions tracking.
• Define content and scope of process piping leak test packages. Communicate testing priorities to SHINE Construction Coordinators and Contractors to complete the pre-test, restoration, and punch list completion walkdowns.
• Support SHINE NDE Coordinator when required
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering preferred but not necessary
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in process piping system testing and completions management.
• Experience in Navy Nuclear or nuclear facility engineering, operations, maintenance, or equivalent in an NRC or DOE regulated environment desired but will train the proper candidate
• Experience with computerized construction systems/NDE tracking 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, and PDF markup software (Adobe or Bluebeam)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to climb scaffold/ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.

Eligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant’s ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls. Additionally, applicant’s eligibility may be conditioned based upon meeting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements for access to Safeguards Information, which typically requires a pre-employment drug screen, fingerprinting and criminal background check.
