Construction Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Management/administration of MDOT or local agency road/bridge construction projects
  


• Organize/coordinate project meetings
  


• Responsible for construction project inspection, testing and administrative staff
  


• Assist with business development and implementation of client development/marketing strategies
  


• Develop/monitor project budgets and report to senior management
  


• Monitor sub consultant progress/performance (review/approve vendor invoices)
  

Requirements:

• B.S. in civil engineering
  


• 4+ years of MDOT construction project management experience
  


• PE License or ability to obtain in two years
  


• Experience supervising construction inspections, testing and staff
  


• Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word and Excel), Field Manager and ProjectWise software
  


• Working knowledge of MDOT project administration/documentation requirements
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
