Construction  Estimator – Construction – Base Salary to 100k/year – Canton, GA

• Our client is a commercial construction company specializing in Stucco, E.I.F.S, Specialty Finishes, Nichiha, Backer Rod & Caulk and Restorations. They have been serving the Southeast for over 34 years and have an outstanding reputation for the quality service and safety standards.  
• In this role, the Construction Estimator will be responsible for compiling estimates and performing material and labor takeoffs for commercial projects. This will involve working mostly in office with the opportunity to work remote in the future. They are looking for a professional Construction Estimator with experience in the commercial exterior and finishing systems trade. Must be able to work in-office in Canton, out-of-state candidates considered if willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze blueprints, specs, proposals, and other documentation
• Calculate accurate labor, equipment, and material costs
• Prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, and services
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Prepare project documents, client information, project schedules and other documentation for use by Project Managers

Qualifications:

• 5+ years Estimating experience in commercial construction : exterior/finishing systems.
• Comfortable with projects up to $2-3 million and a go-getter mentality.
• On Screen Take Off and QuickBid experience.
• Ability to coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers and other team members.
• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret plans and specifications relative to the scope of work and schedule specified for each project within bid time frames.
• Professional certification as a Cost Estimator, such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) Certification, is a plus

• Base salary up to 100k/year, plus product based bonus
