As a Foreman in our subcontracting division, you’ll step into a hands-on leadership role where your skills directly shape some of California’s most beautiful homes. What you get to own:

• Lead and supervise field crews while actively performing “bags-on” carpentry work.
• Own the on-site implementation of the project-specific health and safety plan.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure adherence to jobsite safety standards.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure schedule, budget, and production goals are met.
• Interpret specifications, plan workflow, and direct field teams to execute work effectively.
• Partner with inspectors, engineers, and suppliers to resolve field challenges and improve methods.
• Inspect ongoing work to ensure it meets quality standards and project deadlines.
• Review and submit reports on progress, material usage, costs, and scheduling needs.
• Participate in coordination and production meetings to identify and resolve issues early.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience as a Foreman in high-end residential construction.
• Strong carpentry skills and understanding of installation techniques with an eye for detail and craftsmanship.
• Proven ability to lead crews by example, mentor and train carpenters, and maintain high standards.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly document site needs and RFIs.
• Proficiency with email and file-sharing tools like Dropbox.
• Bonus if you’re familiar with digital plan tools, Procore and MS Project.
• Strong customer service instincts and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Have a full complement of tools, including specialty tools for division 6.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safe construction practices.
• Able to work on projects from San Francisco to the Peninsula
