As part of our continuous recruitment process, we are seeking Highway Inspector/Engineersfor assessment and review of existing or new municipal facilities including the condition of roadways, trails, curbs, sidewalks culverts, water and sewer lines, bridges, ancillary structures, intersection and traffic control and other transportation facilities and development of conceptual alternatives for construction of a project.
Qualifications/Skills: Prior NYSDOT (New YorkState Department of Transportation) experience is required. Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license to drive to job site/s. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented and highly organized. Prior Federal-Aid Project experience a plus.
Pay Rate:$40.00-$45.00 Hourly Salary (This may vary depending upon years of experience and education.)
