Construction Laborer

Avant Supported Living LLC is currently seeking dedicated Construction Laborer and Maintenance personnel to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our mission of caring for and empowering individuals with developmental disabilities. Your work will contribute to creating safe and inclusive environments where individuals can thrive and achieve their potential.

Responsibilities:

-Use hand and power tools effectively.

-Perform carpentry tasks from rough to finish on buildings, frameworks, and trim.

-Communicate well with management, staff, and subcontractors.

-Clean work sites, load and unload materials, and complete inspections.

-Assist with small repair projects such as drywall repairs, flooring removal, painting, and outlet changes.

-Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

- Previous experience in construction or related field is preferred but not required.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.

- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and attention to detail.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, squat, and perform manual labor as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Must be at least 18 years old

-Ability to work Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime on Saturdays

-Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical labor without restrictions

-Successful completion of background screenings

Job Type: Independent Contractor

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Location: In-person
