Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Environmental Construction Laborer to support a variety of environmental construction projects. This role involves heavy labor and travel to job sites throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Responsibilities

• Perform excavation, landfill construction, waste-cell construction, storm-water repairs and construction, demolition, road rehabilitation, clearing and grubbing, and other restoration services
• Operate and maintain pumps, pressure washers, excavation using a variety of hand tools, and small equipment (mini-excavator experience a plus)
• Install and maintain silt fencing and erosion control measures
• Overseeing delivery and off-loading of materials and site setup
• Occasional use of respirators, protective suits, and other personal protective equipment may be required
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED Required. College or technical training courses in related field (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 5-year driving record (CDL preferred)
• 40-hour HAZWOPER and 8-hour refresher preferred (training available)
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol/background screening
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with teams
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time
