Construction Laborer (Steel Erection) - Clinton Engineering

Clinton Engineering is currently seeking reliable and safety-oriented Construction Laborers for a variety of steel erection projects. 

Whether you're in the field in Davenport erecting a steel framed building at our sister company Linwood Mining & Minerals, or onsite at Lyondell-Basell, you will be working alongside a team to ensure that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This work will include assisting with steel building erection, steel layout, making up steel connections, rigging, material staging, and other physical tasks.  It may also include steel fabrication, assembly and welding. Depending on your work history, you can also expect to run machinery such as: Skid steers, AWP/Scissors lifts, rollers, excavators, and heavy trucks.

Requirements in this Position:

• Prior work experience with steel building erection or steel layout is required


• Possession of a valid driver's license.


• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
  

Depending on business need and where your skills are best utilized, your work hours could be Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM OR Monday through Thursday (4-10's) from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Both schedules have the option for overtime.  

The pay range for this position is $20.00/hour up to $30.00/hour, based on previous experience.
