RLM Underground was established in 2016 and specializes in underground and aerial telecom construction projects throughout the United States. Our rapid growth has allowed us to enhance our construction and operational capacities, evolving into a comprehensive turnkey telecommunications contractor.

Position Summary:

RLM Underground is looking for motivated and experienced Telecom Construction Managers. Our Construction Managers are responsible for overseeing construction sites and ensuring the safety of employees and crews. The ideal candidate must have experience in aerial and/or underground telecommunications, construction, and management. The primary goal is to ensure that all customer needs are met.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversees construction sites to ensure a high level of quality and safety
• Responsible for customer and homeowner relations
• Assists customers and homeowners with complaints and restoration concerns
• Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved documents and procedures
• Ensures that the project is completed in a timely, efficient and safe manner
• Lead and direct ground crews daily
• Develops redline and daily reports
• Responsible for procurement at job sites including straw, seed, cutters, shovels, batteries, tarps, paint, etc.
• Monitors schedule updates
• Maintains cleanliness of job sites, company equipment and vehicles 
• Daily inspections of company vehicles, equipment and job sites

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Telecom construction technology is required
• Aerial &/or underground telecommunications construction experience is required
• Risk assessment/management experience
• Ability to work within administrative policies and procedures
• Leadership and Communication skills are required
• Travel may be required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus!
