Job Description - Construction Manager - Federal Sector

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager for our Federal Sector projects. This role will involve overseeing various construction projects, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or alternatively, twenty years of pertinent experience can be accepted in place of a degree.
Demonstrated experience on construction projects exceeding $50M in total value.
Extensive on-site inspection experience, with multiple projects reflecting a direct role as an on-site inspector.
Proven background in Construction Management, including oversight, project coordination, and contractor management responsibilities.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, particularly in federal projects.
Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects efficiently and effectively.
Strong understanding of federal contracting regulations, codes, and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to facilitate discussions among stakeholders.
Experience with project management software and tools.
Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties
Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion while ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address and resolve issues.
Provide guidance and support to project teams during all phases of construction.
Review and approve project submittals, change orders, and payment applications.
Ensure quality assurance and quality control on all aspects of construction work.
Prepare and present reports on project status and performance metrics to stakeholders.
Salary commensurate with experience.
