The primary duty of theCommercial Construction manager is to oversee project teams (in-houseinstallers, subcontractors and vendors) and their performance. It is also the Construction manager responsibility to ensurethat the project meets all quality standards and is conducted in a safe mannerwhile reporting to the staff construction manager and assigned Project Managerfocused on schedule and budget. Even with these secondary functions, this roleshould spend most of their time engaged in management duties as outlined above.

What You’ll Do

Oversee and manage projectteams (in-house, subcontractors and vendors). May have Direct reports
Review and understand allspecifications of the project. Create site plan, mobilize and demobilizejobsites accordingly
Schedule and receivematerial deliveries, track inventory and order missing equipment and tools. Coordinate,manage and direct onsite personnel, vendors and subcontractors
Review the work progress dailyand prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status. Ensureproject documentation is current and present in the assigned locations
Plan ahead to preventproblems and resolve any emerging ones. Identify, mitigate, and manage risks
Ensure quality constructionstandards and the use of proper construction techniques
Keep all parties onsite andoffsite well informed throughout the project, on track, maintaining timelinesand aware of deadlines. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards andreporting of all incidents
What You’ll Bring

5+ years working experiencein construction management including record of stellar leadership, organizationand communication
Ability to travel for up to3 weeks at a time. Journeyman’s Electrical License desirable. Proficient inMicrosoft Word, Project and Excel
Competent in conflict andcrisis management. Enjoys and thrives while learning and problem solving. Consistentlydoes the right thing when no one is watching
Takes initiative and followsthrough on big and small projects. Excellent organizational and time-managementskills
A team player with anability to lead. Competent in conflict and crisis management. Conductsthemselves in a professional manner on and off the clock
OSHA 30 hours – CPR-firstaid preferred. Knowledge of safety standards set by NEC and NFPA70E. Experiencein equipment operation, certificate preferred (scissor lift).
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.from the ground and pull 50 lbs. of force. Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling,and conduit pulling. Fully squat, stoop or kneel while wearing a 25 lbs. toolbelt. Maintain a standing position for long periods while performing repetitiveactions such as grasping or manipulating wires. Work off ladders, man lifts orreach booms
