Construction Manager - Southeast

Eaton\u2019s Engineering Service \u0026 Systems (EESS) Division is hiring! We\u0027re seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Manager to lead complex data center projects. In this role, you\u2019ll be the driving force behind project execution\u2014ensuring every phase runs smoothly, safely, and successfully. You\u2019ll collaborate across teams, manage resources, and serve as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. This role will include a mixture of on-site and remote project management across multiple locations primarily in Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia.\n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $135,000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n * Lead full-cycle project delivery\u2014from planning and budgeting to scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management\n * Conduct thorough reviews of technical requirements, scope of work, and timelines during project handoff\n * Leverage project management tools and software to track milestones, manage deliverables, and ensure on-site execution stays on course\n * Facilitate and lead project meetings, maintaining clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders\n * Coordinate Eaton\u2019s work around other trades to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption\n * Manage project closeout activities including punch lists, issue resolution, warranty handoff, and transition to ownership\n * Act as the primary on-site contact for all EESS-related activities throughout the project lifecycle\n * Partner with District Operations to promote and enforce safety initiatives across all job sites\n * Oversee financial performance through cost control, change order management, and risk mitigation\n * Collaborate with commercial operations, sales engineers, and technical support teams to align client expectations with project deliverables\n * Implement strategic program-level changes and initiatives from the Strategic Operations team\n * Mentor and guide team members, sharing expertise in project management and operational excellence to build team capability\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum 10 years progressive experience in construction management, site supervision or project coordination, including at least 5 years leading electrical, industrial or general construction projects OR Bachelor\u0027s degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant construction management experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or project management role.\n * Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver\u2019s license.\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H1B, H1-B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.\n * Relocation assistance to Charlotte, NC, Boydton, VA or Atlanta, GA is available.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in construction management, or electrical engineering from an accredited university\n * 5+ years electrical field services experience\n * 5+ years managing electrical construction or commissioning projects as a project manager or construction manager, preferably data center projects\n * PMP or Commissioning Agent Certification\n * Proficiency in project management and construction industry software packages (Microsoft Project, ProCore, etc.)\n * OSHA 10 \u0026 30 hour general industry or construction certification.\n\n\n\n#LI-LS3\n\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
