Construction Project Accountant job in Orange County, CA

This is a permanent, full time position that offers a great salary and benefits package as well as career-growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Review Insurance Certificates, W9’s, MSA’s, Change-Orders, Certified Payrolls, and Work-Orders


• Track submittals, RFI’s and documentation


• Assist Project Managers and Field Operations as well as Accounting Department helping to build and maintain accurate records and project values and accurate expense reporting


• Understand and coordinate with Owner and General Contractor billing cycles


• Assist with payments, releases, and waivers


• Prepare subcontractor billings and vendor purchase orders

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial construction project accounting experience


• Local in Orange County


• Advanced MS Excel knowledge


• Stable work-history

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s in accounting


• Experience working with Viewpoint
