Construction Project Engineer

Jaxon is looking for a Construction Project Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

Salary: $80,000-$95,000

Schedule: Full-Time

Travel Requirement:  While this role is primarily a position located in Colorado Springs, a Construction Project Engineer should be prepared to travel as needed. Travel expenses are paid by the company. 

Security Clearance Requirement:  This role requires the ability and willingness to obtain a Department of Defense Top-Secret Security Clearance.

Primary Duties:

• Prepare, review, and deliver project submittals, customer deliverables, and other required documentation on time.
• Maintain project logs, trackers, and records, including procurement, RFIs, change management, and status reporting.
• Monitor project progress, identify issues or risks, escalate concerns, and recommend solutions to support successful outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, timely completion of work, and achievement of shared goals.
• Uphold company quality standards, policies, and professional reputation while supporting additional project needs and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain schedules, scopes, and objectives for active and anticipated projects.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or two years of experience as a project engineer or similar role for a specifically related field such as Commercial/Industrial Construction, DoD contracting, EMP protection or Manufacturing
• Ability to obtain or current possession of U.S. Passport
• Understanding of and proficiency with plan reading, specifications, statements of work or request for proposals 
• Experience coordinating project teams and schedules 
• Proficient with MS Office suite 

Desired Job Qualifications:

• Willingness to be coached and willing to learn new skills in a growing industry 
• Experience using MS Project
