As Gunner expands our services into new markets, we are seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial Project Manager to lead our efforts and help us establish a strong presence in Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take on the challenges of launching new services.
This role requires a unique blend of project management expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and business acumen to navigate the complexities of launching our services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong management background, a passion for construction, and the ability to think outside the box to drive success in this new venture. This position works almost primarily in the field with minimal supervision or contact with a manager. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough research to understand the new market landscape, including local regulations, competitive landscape, and client needs.
Collaborate with headquarters to design and facilitate training programs that equip team members with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the new market.
Manage projects for customer satisfaction, profitability, and future process improvements
Provide consistent high-quality craftsmanship and communication to customers
Confirms that all company-branded work is OSHA-compliant and satisfies all other applicable laws and regulations.
Initiating pre-install meetings to review scope of work with homeowner to set job expectations and scheduling
Provide leadership — advancing safety, teamwork, and discipline—resulting in efficient and professional contract completion
Review and understand scope of work and project specifics ensuring positive customer experience and compliance with local building codes
Schedule and secure materials, equipment and deliveries, paying special attention to using inventoried materials and special-order items to meet budget and minimize waste
Coordinate, supervise and manage subcontractors
Monitor quality of installations and conducting a post inspection
Advise customers on possible changes to scope and provide change orders directly to the customer all without prior approval by a supervisor
Other responsibilities as assigned by Management
Qualifications:
2+ years of Construction Management experience
Previous experience in launching new services or entering new markets preferred
Willingness to travel as needed to support project initiatives and team development.
A professional appearance – With 5 star customer service
Self-motivated and disciplined
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Resourceful problem-solving abilities
Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time.
Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate and control costs
High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
Strong leadership and management skills
A desire to find creative solutions in a dynamic, changing environment
A willingness to learn

Base Salary: $55,000 to $70,000
