DIRECT HIRE: Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to join an industrial coatings and plant solutions group. The company provides epoxy-based coatings solutions to customers across power, energy, chemical, and wastewater industries. If there is a corrosion or water resistance need, there is a solution. Beyond epoxy-based solutions, the company thrives in solving major pain points for customers in industrial and plant settings where repair and maintenance needs are required. As a field-based Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project completion at job sites and ensuring the highest quality execution and safety. This is a field role with travel required along the East Coast. Expectations are to be at headquarter locations at least one day per week.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise construction projects from conception to completion
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and construction crews
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Maintain the highest standards of quality execution and safety
Coordinate job specific material orders and deliveries
Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
Provide technical support to clients and field personnel
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Provide regular project status updates to management
Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred, or equivalent prior work experience
-5+ years of experience in contracting, construction, industrial painting, maintenance and repair, or field services
Strong leadership and communication skills desired; prior work crew supervisory experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
Strong attention to detail
High levels of integrity and work ethic
Ability to travel frequently along the East Coast
Ability to occasionally work off-hours/weekends as required for certain shutdown/turnaround jobs
Valid driver's license
Forklift operator certified or ability to become certified after hire
