ABOUT THE TEAM
The Construction and Facilities team at our company delivers the factories, labs, offices, and manufacturing spaces that enable our teams to design, build, and deploy technology. Our work ranges from high-performance manufacturing facilities and specialized production environments to collaborative workspaces that support engineering and operations teams.
As part of the Construction and Facilities team, you will help build and maintain the physical spaces and infrastructure that enable innovation and production to move at speed. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, operations, security, EHS, and IT to ensure every facility supports safe, efficient, and scalable operations.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our growing team in Dallas / Ft. Worth Metro Area, TX.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Pre-Construction and Project Planning
Define user requirements for construction projects.
Lead feasibility analysis, site due diligence, and early project planning.
Develop cost estimates from concept through completion.
Assemble and lead architects, engineers, and specialty consultants.
Establish project scope, schedule, and budgets with internal stakeholders.
Construction Project Execution
Lead construction projects from early planning through completion.
Oversee a diverse range of initiatives including new facility builds, retrofits, expansions, and infrastructure upgrades.
Coordinate design, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with operational requirements.
Budget and Financial Management
Develop and manage project budgets across the full project lifecycle.
Work closely with Finance and FP&A to forecast capital spending and manage project cash flow.
Track cost performance and proactively manage scope changes and risk.
Prepare and present project updates and financial reports to senior leadership.
Contracting and Vendor Strategy
Execute contracting strategies that align incentives, reduce disputes, and drive project success.
Negotiate commercial terms with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
Oversee contractor performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for construction-related matters.
Work cross-functionally with teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Security, EHS, IT, and Finance.
Communicate project progress, risks, and key decisions to internal leadership & collaboration between internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment.
External Project Coordination
Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction.
Coordinate with external project managers and construction teams across multiple sites.
Lead regular project meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and maintain alignment.
Strategic and Program Leadership
Lead multiple construction initiatives simultaneously.
Identify opportunities to standardize processes and improve project delivery.
Drive continuous improvement in construction management practices, cost control, and scheduling.
Contribute to long-term planning and infrastructure strategy with growth.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in construction management
Strong background in commercial / manufacturing facilities.
Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering in high pressureenvironment
In-depth knowledge of best practices for commercial construction
Competency in contracts, scheduling, doc review, permitting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Local to or willingness to relocate to Dallas/ Ft. Worth metro area.
Willingness to work, in person, locally 5 days per week.
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with manufacturing facilities.
Experience with defense manufacturing.
Experience with extreme timeline / rapid scale
Experience with project management software
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
