Location:
Fremont, Ohio. This is an in-person and field-based position supporting commercial projects throughout Northwest Ohio. We value face-to-face collaboration while providing practical flexibility when personal conflicts arise and project requirements allow.

Candidates must have 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience and be comfortable taking ownership of project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, client communication, and overall project execution.

Job Description
- Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, contracts, procurement activities, forecasts, and cost-to-complete projections.
- Partner with estimating teams on constructability reviews, value engineering, subcontractor selection, procurement planning, and project strategy.
- Coordinate closely with superintendents on field operations, manpower, equipment, logistics, and subcontractor performance.
- Lead owner meetings, project coordination meetings, and progress reviews while proactively communicating challenges and solutions.
- Manage subcontractor buyout, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, punch lists, commissioning, and closeout documentation.
- Build strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Identify potential project risks early and develop practical strategies to protect schedule, cost, quality, safety, and client expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of directly relevant commercial construction project management experience.
- Proven experience managing commercial projects through multiple phases of the construction lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost management, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, change management, and project financial performance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, field teams, subcontractors, and company leadership.
- Experience with complex commercial buildings, structural steel, reinforced concrete, major MEP systems, ground up construction, or significant renovations is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent directly relevant construction experience will also be considered.
- Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, CMiC, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management platforms is preferred.
- Design Build and Construction Manager at Risk experience is a plus.
