Construction Project Manager

Project Manager, Kitchen & Bath Remodeling | The Norfolk Companies

You build it. You run it. You keep the customer in the loop.

Norfolk builds kitchens and baths with our own carpenters, our own design team and a high bar for craftsmanship. As our Project Manager, you are the person customers trust and crews respect: you run the job, keep everyone in the loop, and make sure it is built right the first time.

Why join Norfolk

• You lead our own carpenter crews, with a project coordinator helping keep the details moving
• Design team and showroom partners who answer when the field calls
• We grow from within: some of our PMs started as Norfolk carpenters, and we want you to build a career here
• Craftsmanship matters here, with the time and backing to build it right and no shortcuts
• Recognition when you go above and beyond, in the moment and not just at review time
• Time in the field with customers and crews, not stuck behind a desk

What you will do

• Lead multiple kitchen and bath remodels at different phases
• Keep customers informed with proactive updates and weekly in-person visits on active jobs
• Build and maintain two-week schedules for carpenters and subs
• Run pre-con and rough-phase walkthroughs; verify scope, plans, material orders, and code items
• Manage change orders, review sub invoices, and compare final cost to budget
• Coach carpenters, protect quality and safety, and close out punch lists and callbacks
• Keep Buildertrend current: logs, photos, schedule, and communication

• 10+ years in residential remodeling project management, kitchen and bath experience essential
• Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL)
• Ability to read cabinet layouts, drawings and structural plans
• Hands-on carpentry or cabinetry experience strongly preferred
• Strong communicator and problem-solver who makes decisions in the field
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Buildertrend or similar
• Pride in the work: you own problems, fix them right away and never cut corners
• Respect for crews and customers: you pick up the phone before the customer has to
