This individual would be responsible for the daily construction management of kinetic metal architectural features as well as daily shop projects for exclusive residences and commercial structures. Experience: 3-5 years of experience, as a Construction manager. Projects ranging in size from $100k -$750k.
Responsibilities
Person must be capable as Project Manager in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control. Strong building and construction skills as well as technical and communication skills are necessary. This job requires intermittent travel to locations in the US. Responsibilities: Supervise the daily physical construction activities in the shop (SLC), ensuring all work is performed in a safe and organized manner that satisfies the project schedule, and is completed in strict compliance with the drawings and specifications. Direct, schedule and coordinate the day-to-day activities of subcontractors (out of state). Maintain working relationships with the Owner's representative onsite, Subcontractors and Vendors, Project Manager, Engineers, Local Authorities, etc. Provide job site leadership by coordinating pertinent work activities, attending project

progress/scheduling

meetings, and other job related activities. Person must be drawing and specification literate; with general knowledge of all phases of construction. Projects ranging in size from $100k -$750k.
Qualifications
• Must have experience in construction methods and have on site experience of 3-5 years. • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and PM software and have excellent communication skills.
• Must have experience in and understand the entire construction process, to constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project, and be able to accurately produce schedules.
• Must be capable of negotiating and creating accurate and complete contracts and subcontracts.
• Must be experienced at planning, organizing, problem solving, effective communications, decision-making, delegating, negotiating, conflict management and cool under fire.
• Needs to take the initiative on solving issues that may arise and to take precautions to prevent problems from arising.
