Ulliman Schutte is seeking Construction Quality Control Engineers who have a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced field. Our team members must be able to work well with others and work through complex technical details in a challenging construction jobsite environment. 

Construction Quality Control Engineer - Daily Life

• Inspection and documentation of construction work including heavy civil, structural, industrial, mechanical, electrical and more.


• Frequent communication with project management personnel, construction trades, subcontractors, third party testing agencies, and Owner and Engineer personnel, to ensure quality construction in accordance with the plans and specifications.


• Thorough comprehension and understanding of detailed technical drawings, specifications, codes and standards. 


• Training, development, and mentoring of Co-ops, and Interns.  Willingness to continually learn and develop.


• Support Project Team in other tasks as assigned.


• Reports to Quality Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Construction Engineering or related field or experience.


• NACE Level 2 Coatings Inspector Qualifications required.


• Experience working successfully on Construction teams.


• Previous experience in Water Infrastructure or Heavy Civil Construction is preferred.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Experience or strong interest in construction quality control and quality assurance.
